Tiny Updates
Our appointment last wednesday went well. No signs of downs or anything else but blood work will be the true test until I deliver this child. It measured 6cm (last wed) and its probaby at 7 or 8 now. Growing very quickly.
I cut my dogs hair! He looks like he has mange. I am not sure if I spelled that right but he looks pathetic and it will grow back. Cute but pathetic.
I got my hair cut and it looks great! I had to get it colored and the lady did a great job. She was careful not to ge any on my scalp since it could be harmful....I normally get the stuff slathered right on my head but not this time. She used foil and the was more expensive but better for baby.
Rusty is in Mexico. Damn it.
I am moving to a different Lowe's store that is closer to home. Its 5.8 miles away compared to my lovely store in Madison that is 30 miles away. I will hate to leave Madison but love the short drive.
We go back to Dr. on 3/12 for regular check up.
We go back again on 3/21 to find out the sex....taking your bets now on G or B
I got beautiful flowers for V-day. 1 yellow, 4 red and 3 white....143...I love you.
Baby E also got flowers on v-day from Rusty's parents. Very sweet and really threw me off when there were 2 deliveries. Thought my secret lover had sent them but no...
Still feeling very good for being prego. Still able to hold all the food in the world down.
I think thats it for now. I will post some pictures of the last ultrasound (one is 3d) once I figure the best way to do it without a scanner. I have a video as well that is quite neat.

Latest Pic Of Little Baby E

I'm not sure how big this will look or how good it will show up but here IT is....Baby E. This was taken today at 12 weeks. You can see the head, belly and a foot. Some have even said a possible horn coming out of its head. I am sure that its more because of the way the picture was taken and less due to the fact that this is Rusty's child. HAHA Rusty!
When we watched it on the screen you could see major moving of the arms and legs. Hands and feet were moving all about. We could see the heart beating and hear it as weel. The baby measures normal at this point. My blood pressure is normal and my weight is fine.
Wednesday I will go to a specialist to test for Downs and other genetic disorders. I will take a video tape and get the whole thing recorded. Then try to move it to DVD and then place it on the blog...keep your fingers crossed. I hope it works.
I will also take a picture of my belly on Sunday before eating and after just so we can compare. By the way- Baby E is only 4 cm long.....tiny. Tiny but just lovely.

Customer: " I would like to order a cake for a going away party this week."
Wal-Mart Employee: "What you want on the cake?"
Customer: "Best Wishes Suzanne" and underneath that "We will miss you".

FROM 2 PINK LINES TO A WHITE DOT!
Rusty and I are expecting our first child. The due date is 8/23/08. I am officially 8 weeks and 4 days pregnant. We found out the week before Christmas. We are excited to say the least. I have not had any morning sickness (knocking on wood) or any other "side effects" as of yet. I have been tired. Really tired but that's it.
We had our first appointment last Friday 1/11. We had an ultrasound and everything looks and sounds great. I do have a picture and will post it as soon as I can. We don't have a scanner so I have to take a picture of the picture and then post. It looks like a white dot. All the books say that 2 of them could tightly fit into the cap of a Coke bottle. Its really little at this point. If you are a mommy then you know everything I am saying. So I'll hush and just say.......YAY. We are super excited.

A new addition to the family
Well most of you will remember Lucky who I am happy to say is still living down the road at my father's house. Well, since Lucky was not the type of dog Rusty wanted (he did shed a lot) and Rusty had not choice in picking him out, we agreed to look for another dog together that did not shed. While we were in the Cayman Islands we met Max. Our friends there have a Yorkie and we liked him a lot. Clay (our friend) had nothing but positive things to say about the breed. I have never been a small dog person but I am proud to say that I am now!
We went to the pet store "just to look" and saw him in the window. We ooohhhed and aaahhhhed and walked away leaving him there for someone else. 24hrs later he was ours. Neither of us could stop thinking about him so we got him. We love him, Rusty loves him. He had called him "his dog" a few times. Cash is a great dog. He plays for an hour and sleeps for 3 at this point. I am sure this will change. He is sleeping in a crate at night and staying there while we are gone in the day. He had found his bark and boy does he think he is a great Dane or something. Really ferocious. Spell check says I spelled that word right...Here he is...

I'll Get You My Pretty...
I had a blast last night! My friend and co-worker Rob and his wife Jenn came over. The porch was decorated just right and Rob volunteered to act as a stuffed man sitting on my porch bench. It was freakin awesome. Kids and adults were terrified. They would not even come close to the porch because they could see him dressed in solid black and thought he might be real but hen again he could be fake. Needless to say, EVERY person that came to the door fell and fell hard for the "monster" on the bench. He scared the #$%* out of every single one. He brought some to tears. If they got really scared and started to walk away he would get up and walk after them. At that point they ran like the 8 year olds they are down the street missing out and all the candy I had waiting. I they stuck around I would open the door dressed as the ugliest witch ever and scare them even more. With my best witch voice I would say.."Welcome to Brookshire Cemetery". Some would run away and some would stand there and shiver. That's just what I wanted. To scare the piss out of the neighborhood, to be "that" house that kids remember forever.
I can't recreate the the moment but here is a list of everything I had set up and some photos. First a flashing strobe light going through the house. Scary music playing on the porch. A bakers rack with 4 light up skulls, 2 candles stuck in wine bottles (they are white but melt red), a pumpkin carved to look like a witch and other random creepy items. The giant 2 1/2 foot spider, a walking hand on the ground, a spider that drops down when you approach, hanging orange glow sticks from the ceiling, spider webs strung up everywhere so it was impossible to walk up without getting stuck in them, 2 real pumpkins carved with creepy faces, a scary figure on the front door that moved up and down as you get closer, a full skeleton in the yard with a head stone, a leg cut off from the knee down sticking out of the ground in front of another head stone, and escaped convict from the waist up coming out of the ground, cob webs throughout the shrubbery, beware of the night sign AND and animated headstone that opens up with a head popping out and a creepy laugh and a scream as you get close to it.
Next year I should post a sign that says enter at your own risk. I told Rusty (who was an excellent sport) that I wanted to make the house haunted next year and have people walk through it. I would start planning now if he agreed. Now for the photos. Trust me you can't even get the full effect with out being here. You are all invited next year. Mwwaahhhhhhh.
