Send your love their way!

Just wanted to share some photos of my mother's parents from my trip in March. I posted one picture of a "good looking man" and these are the others. Please send some love to G&G. While your at it throw a few prayers in too! The ultimate Santa Clause is under the weather and could use a little Christmas wonder his way.

This one is all 3 of us holding the camera out in front to snap the picture!

Queen of Shomewhere Hot

Lately I have been yearning to be somewhere HOT. Like the place you see here. It was 80 degrees 3 days ago in Athens and that's probably what brought it on. So...
I listened to some of my fav-o-rite Jimmy B while doing all that vacuuming you have read about and it made me want to escape. One of the songs is called King of somewhere hot. He sings of being in Jamaica and hearing his song being played by a local band. He felt like the king and it was hot. Hence the title. Jimmy's song are never really complicated.
For example: Math Sucks, Fruitcake, Margaritaville, One Particular Harbor and Pre-You. Pretty simple songs that are all easy to understand just by the title.
I love this music and I love this quote as well: "Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. A sleeping bag under a bridge by the canal is still waterfront property"- Jimmy Buffett.
SO if your dreaming of being somewhere hot while its 35 degrees on Easter just play your favorite escape music. That's what I did. I made Margaritas (frozen this time), vacuumed to Jimmy B and dreamed of somewhere HOT. It worked if only for an hour.

Lucky

After much discussion (I chose a nice word) it looks like Lucky will be finding a new home. Unfortunately the dog hair is much to much for Rusty. Otherwise the dog is "great" he says but the shedding is unbearable.

I am sad but I must keep peace in the house (plus I want to be married). SO I am on the quest to find a new home for our beloved Lucky. He stares at me while I type this and has no idea. I heard the neighbor down the road is looking for a small dog. I may go knocking at their door in a while. I also made flyers to be placed at the vets office. If anyone has any other ideas out there please let me know.
I took the flyers to the vets office. The receptionist asked why I was trying to find him a good home. I told her. I teared up and then left.
