We hit a Milestone!
He talks and he WALKS! On 11/13 we watched our son take his first unassisted steps. It was a moment I won't soon forget! He has probably done this before but to his mom and dad this was a first.
Now he is taking off in any and all directions. Its quite a sight. He still resorts to crawling in the middle of walking sometimes.
Anderson also has a few words he says that we clearly understand...
1. nana (banana)
2. shooz (shoes)
3. uh oh (uh oh)
4. bye (bye)
5. da da (rusty)
6. ma ma ma ma (mama) its usually several mama's at a time.
7. ca (cash) we know this because he points to cash when he says Ca.
We really are in love with this boy. Who couldn't love him.
We got a new computer and its a doozy! Very super fancy and its quick so updating the blog or facebook will be a breeze. Until next time which won't be 2 or 3 months away. I will get better, even though i think everyone that used to look at the blog pretty much gave up on it....its my fault. I'm sorry.

Way Over Due
So A few updates...
1. Anderson is making more and more sounds each day. He points to Cash and says Ca Ca, he says ock when we put socks on, says bye and waves backwards.
2. He is standing up more and more as well. Walking around the coffee table and sometime leaning towards the couch but has not taken the leap yet.
3. He begs like a baby bird. Cash does not even beg. But a few people have (myself included) fed him from the couch. Oops.
4. Rusty has been all over the world and back. Not really the world but several states in one week.
5. We survived H1N1 but AWE did not. He got it but got some "drugs" and is all better.
6. I have been Jazzercising and love it. Not to mention the music is great.
7. Cash is still doing well with his training.
8. Work has been busy with projects here and there. We even made the local newspaper. Whoo Hoo.
9. Brenda is as tough as ever, making it through her first (of 4) round of Chemo. Is that spelled right? 3 more to go and you are home free!!
10. The creek is rising...If you have not seen the news we have had a crazy amount of rain. I read about a family in a mobile home who watched the water rise and knew when it was time to hang on for dear life....so they did. Sadly, the mother had a grip on the 1yr old and the father held onto the 2yr old but soon lost his grip. The 2yr old was found later. He had drowned. Makes me so thankful to be alive, to have a great family, to squeeze my son and say I love you and love my husband.

This was taken by my moms cell phone. I will post the rest. Soon. I just got my computer hooked back up tonight.

A trip to the beach!!
We had a blast at the beach. Family, friends, sunshine, water, aahhhh it was wonderful.
Anderson studies the sand and then eats it. A whole lot of it.
Yummy, now put it down baby.
Need I say anything about this picture...? I don't think so. A-door-A-bull
Poolside and you should notice the beer in the background!
The whole Family. We actually ran into a guy and his family that we went to high school with. Small world.

Oohhh Sh*t
This was in our garage. Wrapped around the wheel of my motorcycle. I screamed like a baby. I HATE SNAKES. Thanks to my dad who grabbed it with his bare hands and took him far away.
The short story is that the snake was there, I screamed, ran across the yard, was told by Ella that 'its only a black snake" and away it went. He was not killed because he is a "good snake" that eats rats and such. I don't like any kind of snakes at all!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Mother's Day Fun
Its way past due...a post that is, but I had to share these cute Mother's Day photos. Please enjoy.
Aunt Ashley, Rusty and AWE
My newest FAV-O-RITE pic of the best boy in the world.
Ella forcing her eyes to stay open for at least one picture.
Ashley Kate munching on something good. She eats I tell ya.
Ashley selecting something from the menu
Laughing after Ashley asked for a top shelf Margarita.
Ella, Grandmana and pudgy McPudge Pudge....as he was nick-named all w/e long.
Grandmama and A.
The weekend was nice. The drive there was tough...Anderson like to eat and on the way down and up we had to stop at a gas station and eat. He did, not me. We enjoyed seeing everyone. Can't wait to do it again.

Fun with Bananas
After seeing my dear friend Jenny use this "tool" "thingy" "do-ma-bobber" with her daughter Charlie I just knew one day I would use it as well. I LOVE IT and SO DOES ANDERSON. You place solid food in it and baby can suck/eat it through a mesh bag. Bananas are a fav along with watermelon! Here is proof.
Once again, on the floor. I usually tie it to the high chair but on this day I did not, now I know why I usually do.
Got a good hold on it!
chomping down!
One more bite.
It drops, I pick it up, rather HE drops it when he sees Cash, cash sniffs, licks, I wash it, give it back, repeat, repeat, repeat. This is the view from the floor which I see quite often as I pick it up.
Once again, on the floor. I usually tie it to the high chair but on this day I did not, now I know why I usually do.
And this my friends is fun with Bananas. The clean up is even better ;~(

More Easter Photos...
This Easter was of course A's first but he had no clue. He did however, enjoy all the attention, goodies and holding by several people. All in all he was very good for so much activity in one day.
After the egg hunt in the neighborhood we made our way to Papa's (my fathers house). A got a basket there which included an outfit and a golf cart toy among other things. A book that he loves as well. Next stop was Gran and Pops house (Rusty's moms) and there the Easter Bunny left several goodies and another egg hunt with Aunt Ashley and Michael.
While we were there we had a feast which left me fat and happy. Anderson was a sport about the wardrobe change into a 31 yr old outfit. Rusty wore a green outfit with a bunny on it his first Easter and we put Anderson in it. It fit. So we made a few pics as you will see.
Other than that we had a great Sunday. Most importantly we ALL got to spend the day together. Rusty did not have to go out of town until later Sunday night as he drove to Hilton Head SC. It was nice. Nicer than any egg hunt, pink peeps or peanut butter egg. Here are some of the pics....hope you likey
